The homemade pastries at breakfast were delightful, especially the orange juice straight from the farm. The pool area is refreshing and serene, making it the perfect spot to unwind after exploring. Plus, the charming old furniture really adds a fairytale vibe to the experience.
If you're after sleek modernity, this old mansion might not be your scene. It's got eccentric charm with its huge ceilings and long corridors, but the dated decor might feel a little out of place for some.

The charming old furniture added character to the experience.
The breakfast selection was mediocre, lacking variety. Additionally, I noticed some mold in the room, likely due to the humidity in Sintra. The overall aesthetic felt dated, which detracted from the comfort of our stay.

The apartment was perfect for our family, providing ample space and comfort, though we did notice
some outdated decor that might not appeal to everyone's taste. The gardens were delightful, especially with a resident turtle roaming about. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and the attentive staff really made our stay memorable.

The gardens are simply stunning! 🌳 We had a lovely big room with views of the pool and Moorish castle. Just a bit bummed about the firm bed though. Also, breakfast could use a bit more variety!

Charming stay amidst stunning gardens
Every morning, I opened the windows to vibrant bird songs and views of beautifully maintained gardens. The buffet breakfast was lovely, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.
While my room was comfortable, the lack of an elevator and the arduous staircase could be challenging for those with heavy bags or mobility issues. Additionally, although the decor adds character, it may feel dated for some tastes.
